Both growing up in Saskatoon about 10 houses apart they started dating in grade 11 and were married 5 years later in August ’04. Rob and Andrianne are about to embark on a journey they have dreamed about for the last 5 years.  While Rob was completing his Education Degree, Andrianne worked incredibly hard at creating Kala’i Hair Design.  While at times Andrianne felt like her dream of being able to travel the world and photograph each move might never happen, the tentative planning started in April 2008. 

While traveling was something the passionately enjoyed doing together, the one big trip seemed like just a dream.  Feeling like “if they don’t do it now it will never happen,” They started discussing all the places they would love to see.  Knowing from previous travels that staying in lower budget accommodations could help reduce the costs of a trip of this magnitude it started to feel to them like it could possibly come true.  With Rob’s schooling and his desire to work until the summer, along with Andrianne’s wedding photography the plans started for a departure date in August. 

The next 6 months will be one of adventure and new life experiences.  With an itinerary that will probably change and unknown experiences ahead, we would like you to join us in our journey through this blog.
